Chicago Museum of Ice Cream

After feeling the scary atmosphere, go to the Museum of Ice cream to calm down! It's also Halloween-themed, but "Treat" from "Trick or Treat" has been chosen here, allowing you to enjoy the flavors of seasonal foods (like pumpkins) and designs that fit the holiday theme.

Wait for your exclamation, not your fright

As soon as you walk in the door, you can grab Dove sorbet from the freezer and the chocolate crispy shell is sweet and delicious inside

The jelly belly room is an ice cream cone

The balloon room has two flavors of sorbet

Hot dog ice cream in a room full of doughnuts is best advised not to add sauce Hahaha Don't ask me why

Interactive games in the room there are two flavors of slime ice cream probably haha Anyway, you can pull a long wire that kind

All of the above is included in the ticket
The museum is full of pink and it's nice to shoot and it takes about two hours to have fun and take pictures everywhere

It's also a great place to take photos with your Halloween makeup! Any style can be matched with the full coverage of pink, and the absurdity and inauthenticity of the invisible reveal as if their own strange special effects, no problem to fit the atmosphere of Halloween!

Follow the skull into the Medical - International Museum of Surgical Medicine

Skulls, which can be seen everywhere on Halloween, are the most common exhibit here. If Halloween uses skulls to carry the souls of the dead, then the skulls here are used to study how to save the lives of the living. Since 1954, it has been home to the only museum in North America dedicated to the field of surgery.

I am very interested in surgery (history) because of my personal experience. This international Museum of Surgery is, as far as I know, the only facility in the United States dedicated exclusively to this subject, and it's a cry for me.
In the regular exhibition, there are various ancient and contemporary surgical instruments, medical models, sculptures of famous historical medical scientists, and oil paintings of surgical scenes. It is worth mentioning that the overall curation is very non-Eurocentric, but equally focused on the medical history of Asia, Africa, and Latin America. There are two exhibition halls on Taiwanese and Japanese medicine.
The special exhibition section is composed of works by artists in residence of the museum and other artists who work around medicine.

I was very moved by a painting of a woman who rode 60 miles on horseback to the doctor's office on Christmas Day, without anesthetic, with her stomach enlarged by a tumor. The doctor told her that this type of tumor had not been operated on before, and that if she tried to remove it, she might die, but she would also die without surgery, and let her choose. The woman chose to undergo surgery, and for half an hour, without anesthetic, she hummed through it. The surgery was successful, and she lived an extra 32 years.
