Known as one of the seven fairytale towns in the world, Niagara on the Lake struck me as both laid-back and healing. This historic town exuded a strong Victorian charm, with buildings, streets and beauty telling stories of the past and present. It was once the capital of Canada in 1792, but because it was too close to the border and vulnerable to military threats, it was disqualified as a capital in a few years.

Feel the grand waterfall, the quiet and melodious town will make people have a kind of dreamlike feeling. The town, with a population of less than 15,000, is as beautiful as a fairy tale in all seasons: every April and May, the spring breeze is intoxicated, the green grass is like grass, and the flowers are paved on the ground. Together with the autumn wind, here has become the world of maple love; In winter, big snowflakes fell on the lake, like a group of white elves falling from the sky. After more than 100 years of vicissitudes, swords and swords have long been lost in the dust. Today, the town's lead is washed away, but the elegance remains.

the Living Water Wayside Chapel, the smallest church in the world. Located just off the road in niagara on the lake, this lovely church was built in 1964 by the Reformed Christian Church of Niagara Falls. It's located on the grounds of Walker's Country Market, so stopping to enjoy the tranquil beauty and solemnity of both experiences is one of the unique lakeside Niagara attractions most people don't know about.

The town is small, with only one main street, Queen Street. The streets are lined with 19th century Victorian-style chalets that, despite years of weather and frost, still retain the low-key splendor of Victorian times.

The landmark on Queen Street is a red clock tower, a monument to those who died in World War I and World War II. The inscription on the monument reads: "The souls of the earth, the sky and the sea who gave their lives for freedom are with us."

The town still retains many pioneering era buildings, the 19th century cultural atmosphere and the old town style have been well protected here, forming a unique style of the town.

The town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is located on the Niagara-on-the-Lake border between Canada and the United States, just off Highway 25 from Great Falls. Once voted one of the prettiest towns in Canada. Small town residents home, is a scenery everywhere. The quiet town, pleasant scenery and fresh air make you want to stop and stay. Residents were seen taking out their own produce and selling it on the doorstep, such as tomatoes.

You can tour the town by horse-drawn carriage. The centre of the town is a commercial street with many bungalows from the Victorian era. The outside of the shop is very artistic. A vintage photo studio, the first time to see such a photo studio, wearing European medieval clothing shooting, unfortunately time is not enough. I picked a restaurant at random, and again it was French fries, pasta and pizza.

It has been voted the coolest street in the world many times, many landmarks, street weirdos, fashion hipsters, restaurants, bars and cafes, a variety of galleries, boutiques, antique shops, furniture shops ~ and a strong sense of art! Take a photo and punch in the can't miss Graffiti small Graffiti Alley. Admire the gorgeous Victorian architecture along the way. The buildings now house independent boutiques, antique shops, galleries and restaurants. I shopped around the shops and bought some fancy souvenirs from my trip.

I tasted maple walnut and caramel, and it wasn't as sweet as I expected, it was very rich and caramelized, and it was silky, and it was like toffee.

I ordered the coconut creamp pie. There are four choices for the cone, and I chose the peanut and chocolate one. You can see this coconut cream pie, which has a coconut flavor on the outside, and a bread-like pie on the inside. We don't know what it tastes like. It's delicious anyway.

The cones are said to be freshly made, but I personally find them unpalatable. I prefer the eggy, crunchy cone, which here is a bit hard, like a hard caramel texture. The one you love may be in love. Made with creamy milk from Prince Edward Island and served in homemade waffle cones, the ice cream is a heavenly treat.

The pharmacy Museum reopened in May after the epidemic. I had never been in it before. It had a dark light and a sense of age, and I loved the color and neat and exquisite decoration. After maintenance and renovation in 1971 as a museum, it is a nearly 200 year old building, and a pharmacy operated by several generations of pharmacists for more than 100 years. The bottles and jars, which stand on high-wall cabinets and shelves, were brought from England by the second generation of owners in 1830. The herbs, powders and liquids in the containers are real. There is a lot of literature presented, as well as presentations by the docents.

This small museum takes me back to 1869. There are many original products on display here, giving me a taste of the medical and drug culture of the past.

✅ Must experience: The Exchange Brewery

As Canada's most famous Niagara wine region, no trip to Niagara on the Lake is complete without a visit to the local wineries. If you're in town for a drink, you can also try out the craft breweries and breweries in the area. We visited Inniskillin, Canada's first manor winery! Its award-winning wines are internationally renowned for their pioneering role in establishing the Canadian wine industry. We also bought the famous ice wine to make hand letters at home!
What to look for: The tasting room here offers a selection of major and seasonal beers on tap, while the rooftop terrace is a great place to enjoy the sun. Tasting the local beer and enjoying the beautiful view of the town made for a perfect afternoon.

In Niagara on the Lake, time seems to slow down and I can relax and explore this charming town. The trip was filled with experiences of food, history and culture that left me with a deep impression of the place.
