Provincial parliament house

The provincial legislature building is one of the most iconic landmarks in the city of Love. This imposing building was used as a prototype for an abandoned museum in the first season of the hit US TV show The Last of Us. In fact, not only the park outside the legislative building is free, parking is free, and even the guided visits inside the building are free.

Many locals are too used to the scenery because they pass through the area so often, or just come to feel the crowds during the fireworks on National Day. In fact, it is very quiet and quiet outside the Legislative Building on weekdays, especially suitable for walking and cycling here after dinner. However, the facade of the legislative building is currently under construction. The provincial and federal governments plan to jointly invest $20 million to create a colorful fountain for young children to play in.

However, I still prefer the old sinking pool with its simplicity and design. Of course, this pool itself is not built for me to play, will be transformed into the present there are some safety, functionality and modern considerations. It's nice to have a free place for Edmonton families to enjoy themselves during the hot season.

Elk Island NationalPark
The park is a national park in Alberta, Canada, 35 km east of Edmonton, a 30-minute drive away.
Established in 1913, the park covers an area of 194 km2 and is a typical northern plateau grassland ecosystem.
Elk Island National Park is designed to protect Canada's endangered and fragile aspen forest ecology, and is also the best place to observe wildlife, herds of bison, elk, and red deer live freely here. With 250 species of birds, Elk Island is an excellent bird-watching paradise. And animals like deer, moose and beavers.

The Beaver Hills area was originally the home of the Sarcee Tribe of Indians, and later the Cree Tribe of Indians. However, with the constant hunting of local beavers and buffalo for large fur trading companies, the buffalo almost disappeared. One theory, however, is that some Beaver Mountain buffalo were captured and placed in a reserve in 1909, from which the buffalo now living in Elk Island National Park bred.

Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village

The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village was established in 1971 and later acquired by the provincial government. There are more than 40 architectural relics in the park, which have been restored and decorated by the provincial government and local Ukrainian ethnic organizations, and have been turned into a theme museum showing the culture and life style of early Ukrainian immigrants. In each venue, live presentations by Ukrainian employees were thoughtfully arranged, and well-preserved collections were displayed in real application scenarios. If you are interested in the history and culture of Ukraine, don't miss this discovery tour.

In downtown Art Museum, there are three floors, not particularly large, but really worth going to, the architectural appearance design is very beautiful, recently Christmas month also put a lot of Christmas trees, hanging small lights, thick festive atmosphere!!!
There are not only traditional art works, but also some very pioneering art, there are many works about plants, and there is a special exhibition about ceramics, it is worth going to the third floor also has some content about clothing, which is also very interesting.

This kind of indoor exhibition is really good in winter when it is very cold outside!! Recommend everyone can go to see ~

Edmonton River Valley Zoo

Edmonton Valley Zoo is a zoo on the northern tip of Z, Canada, at 53° N latitude. Due to the long, cold winter and high energy costs, the master plan called for a more sustainable strategy for exhibitions and experiences. The "Arctic Coast" habitat is the initial phase of the envisioned "Polar Extremes" exhibition complex, which will highlight species from the polar regions.

Canada is rightly proud of its Arctic and the animals and people who inhabit this frigid frontier. The exhibit will feature northern fur seals, Arctic foxes and Arctic ground squirrels, allowing them to effortlessly move in and out of the house, choosing their own comfort and hibernation time.

Visitors will be able to take part in pinnipeds training activities through the sliding doors of the adjacent observation building and learn how the zoo cares for its animals. Additional cultural explanations provide games and learning opportunities, giving visitors an insight into the animals that make their living in the North.
