Is Bangkok boring? no! Unlock interesting niche gameplay

People who do not love shopping, do not love to punch the temple giant Buddha such attractions, the second time to Bangkok for 2 days, will be very bored and do not know what to do! This time, in line with the principle of refusing boredom, digging niche gameplay, and deeply feeling the local life, I searched for several interesting places

A little train through the jungle
🚗 Where: Nestter's home
📍 Location: PF6C+CR2, Talat Phlu, Thon Buri, Bangkok 10600

Here is a niche point, you can take a small train through the jungle, need more than 200 telephoto, the train about 40, 50 minutes a trip. It's a 20-minute taxi ride from downtown Bangkok.

The train in Bangkok is not only a means of transportation for local residents to commute, but also has a strong interweaving and interaction with the local scenery and culture in some special places.
Here you can see the narrow-gauge train with the whistle slowly open, through the next flowers and trees, residential vendors, and finally disappear in the distance of the "jungle tunnel", all kinds of vehicles and pedestrians will walk through the track, and even when the train is coming, there are people rushing across the track.

"Bangkok Green Lung" Rainforest wetland ride
Bang Krachao, seen on the map as a large green lung shaped wetland, is home to the Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Nature Park and the ancient Bang Nam Phueng floating market, You can rent a bicycle to ride the whole island and breathe freely in the rainforest ecological vegetation. This time I accidentally found a punch-in point on Google Maps where the road ends at the river - very hidden and worth exploring for nature lovers.

A very close to the city center and a small treasure of close to nature ~ is also inadvertently brushed to this place, it is heard that it is not far from the center of Bangkok, but has a secluded quiet. So I picked an afternoon and came here.

🚗 How do I get there?
Map search 🔍 :Wat Khlong Toei Nok, you can choose the way to go. We took a taxi to the intersection of this temple, then walk inside, turn left will pass the temple, continue to walk inside to the end will see the ticket office and the pier.
🎫 Ferry ticket fee
The ticket window is an old lady, a single round trip is 40 baht a, she will write you a small note, the return boat will be delivered to this pier, she will take the small note (ferry ticket) back.
🚴 Island Transportation
The boat is very fast, about 5 minutes to the opposite side of the dock, on the dock is the place to rent bicycles. The average bike is 80 baht/day, the mountain bike is a little more expensive, there is an hourly fee option, you can choose. PS: The rental shop closes at 6pm and you have to return the car to the dock by 6pm.
🍃 Island attractions
Most of the photos above were taken in the national Park closest to the pier called Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden, which is very primitive and has a tropical rainforest feel in some corners. Very out of film!
⚠️ Precautions
There are a lot of mosquitoes on the island, as well as a lot of red ants, so it's best to carry mosquito repellent or herbal ointment with you in case you need it. In addition, the food on the island is not expensive, the shops are also very simple, and there are several cafes to drink, and the price is also very cheap. If you want to know about it, a more specific guide or scenic spot will be shared next time.

Khlong Lat Mayom floating market

Before coming to Bangkok, I talked with my Thai neighbors about the floating market that locals go to, and recommended me to Khlong Lat Mayom. She said that locals like to visit this floating market, which is not so commercial yet. It is a weekend market near the river, and there are also boats to buy and sell things on the water. And it's not far from the city, about 40 minutes by car.

There is a dock in the parking lot, chartered 600 baht, if there is some Thai, you can basically talk with them 500 baht. Take a wooden boat to enjoy the scenery of the river, there are many residents on the shore, each door is equipped with a private boat parking, a unique view of Bangkok's water.

Bangkok is rich in rivers, forming a lot of river built on the floating market, a lot of ships shuttle trade. This time, I specially collected information and chose one to experience.
The most famous and most visited are Dannensado and Ampawa, but both are far from the city centre and take too much time to travel.

One of the floating markets close to downtown Bangkok, the Kon Lat Mayong Floating Market is perfect for those with limited time. The opening hours are 8am-5pm from Saturday to Sunday.
It is not a very famous tourist attraction, more traditional and local, there are a variety of food, there are a lot of fruit on the shore boat, fried food stalls, in addition to eating a variety of handicrafts, spices and so on. Boats are also available, there are Tours to Big Buddha, and there are lines connecting other floating markets (Taling Chan Floating Market and Wat Saphan Floating Market).

Wat Sai Floating Market
It is the floating market next to the temple, in addition to weekends, weekdays are also open, and it is more lively in the morning. It is a very local place where locals shop daily, with a variety of food stalls, as well as selling vegetables, fruits and various spices.
The best viewing location of the new landmark Shuimen Temple in Bangkok, Thailand! You have to go to the floating market, there are many floating markets in Bangkok, mark, make sure you remember this one! Two people round trip cost 800 strains, equivalent to about 160 yuan, very conscience, the master will stop here to let you take photos.

the Rain Coffer and Gallary
Last stop of the day, Coffee in the Rain forest
Consumption can be free boating and swing, dishes and coffee are also good, more than 40 kilometers from Bangkok, while today there is a chartered car to pull a grass, my chartered car is to go to the railway market + water market + rainforest coffee, just one day back to Bangkok!
