Clarkson's Farm is an idyllic life written by Jeremy Clarkson himself. Tired of the fast pace of urban life, he decided to buy a barren piece of land in the English countryside and create his own ideal garden. The documentary details Clarkson's process of transforming this land from scratch into a vibrant farm step by step, interspersed with his unique insights on agriculture, environmental protection, lifestyle, and warm interactions with neighbors and animals, forming a vivid and authentic pastoral picture.


The weather was fine on the weekend. I drove to Clarkson Farm with my friends and searched the Diddly Squat Farm Shop. On the way, I passed many farms and had a wide view. The farm shop opened at 9.30am and we arrived around 10am. The parking lot was spacious and there was plenty of space. Fortunately, it had been sunny for the last few days and there was no mud on the ground.
Finally came to Clarkson's farm, did not expect so hot, good weather must go out!

At 10 o 'clock in the morning, there were already a lot of people in line, and it was a long line, which was a little scary. Originally thought otherwise go to the neighborhood for a stroll, and then come back, fortunately did not go is a wise decision. Because by the time we left (around 13:45) the cars were full, the line was longer and there were more people!! There were so many cars outside that they blocked the whole road. Also encountered a large group of heavy motorcycle party. So more talent in the afternoon!

There are almost a dozen beers for every man here, and there are quite a variety in the store. The refrigerator has sausage, pork pie, steak pie, sausage roll and so on, and the beverage cabinet has beer and cocktail. I am more interested in the sauce section. I bought some hot sauce to take home to try, and there was a bakery in the middle of the shop that had croissants, chocolate buns, sourdough buns and so on. At the checkout, there were samples of mango chutney sauce and bloody mary ketchup on the counter, and my friend and I were about to check out, and then we turned around and grabbed a bottle of bloody mary ketchup.


At the store bought finger chips Cow Juice (which is actually better than Tesco lol) hot sauce, chocolate, canvas bag. The restaurant is exactly the same as in the show, except it's cloudy or the view would be better, and their beef burgers and black truffle fries are amazing.

When we were visiting Clarkson's Farm, we had been longing to visit his farm, and we were lucky enough to meet Jeremy and Cheerful Charlie. During the meal the gorilla and Charlie came over (the gorilla is really tall) and took a picture with him after getting permission from the staff and the gorilla himself. Me: I really enjoy watching Clarkson's Farm and I'm looking forward to the next season Gorilla: Where are you from? Me: Chengdu, China Gorilla: Ah China, I have been to Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Zhengzhou. Although the weather is very bad today, I am really lucky and excited to meet the gorilla myself!

In SUMMARY:

1. The popularity of this show is really high, as can be seen from the length of the queue, the tourists are mainly British locals, and are all families to come, of course, there are some children like us.
2. The weekend is the peak of the flow of people, can be wrong peak, otherwise we will see the queue around the farm shop and restaurant three layers outside three layers. Mid-week queues are said to last less than 20 minutes. If you can choose the right weather, the farm must be muddy after the rain.
3. If you are not a fan of the show, you don't really need to come, otherwise you may be disappointed, after all, it is just a shop + semi-open restaurant, and tourists can't walk into the farmland to experience (some tourists have been shouted warnings by farm managers for strayed into the newly sown wheat fields). You can buy the same product at Amazon fresh stores and on the farm website.
4. The personal experience is still good, for me to watch the 1-3 seasons twice, can personally visit the shooting scene this experience is still very worthwhile.
